Our Goal
Bald cypress bonsai dates back over 50 years, all the way back with Louisiana roots. Men like Vaughn Banting and Gary Marchal opened the eyes of practitioners internationally with their work collecting and developing the idea of a Louisiana “flat-top.” Their students, Guy Guidry and Randy Bennett have been integral developing practices that move the care of the species even further.
By approaching collected material with care, intention, and design execution we aim to continue the legacy of these innovative Louisianians.
